Church Brick Paver Concept

Software Used:
Sketchup, Blender, Media Encoder

Brief Summary of Project:
A local church wanted to replace a deteriorated sidewalk coming out of their entrance. Instead of simply replacing the sidewalk concrete, the community opted to use sized brick and inlaid inscribed granite pieces.

Workflow Methodology:
I used the brick size, color, and pattern specifications and laid out the walkway. Sketchup does not allow PBR texturing so the geometry was made per brick and arrayed/trimmed as necessary. If I had to remake this project today, my approach would be vastly different and much easier. I added a rough block out of the stairs and building to allow showing a few points of approach. I brought the project in to Blender to quickly add foliage and to render out the animation.
